4. Matters Arising.
- The Green
The memorial tree plaque has been ordered and Maurice suggested a small
ceremony be arranged to include Dick Aubertin`s 2 sisters and the vicar
sometime in July.
It was agreed to leave the deposit for private events on the Green at £50
and hope that the events organisers would leave this as a donation towards
the services provided on the Green.
George Bacon is to hold the events diary for the Green.
Ian Long proposed and it was seconded by Carolyn Mallam and agreed by all
that the Stepping Stones should be ordered for the play area on the Green.
(Approx cost £175)
The Track – Further improvement work was discussed, this would be more
expensive and there would be no guarantee that the work would last any
longer than the previous remedial repairs. After discussions it was
decided to leave the track as it was at present and review the situation in
January 2005.
Additional telegraph poles are to be provided by SEB free of charge to try
and control the cars that drive onto the Green.
