Amport Fen - July 2009

Much important conservation work has been done on Amport Fen this year.  This photograph shows children of Amport School who recently painted a sign showing the types of butterflies which will be seen on the Fen this summer.

Shown are some of the children who helped paint the sign with Rose Wareham, Ian Morrison, Colin Wareham who made the sign, Ashley Smith, and artist Joanna Hart who assisted the children

In the coming months the Parish Council hopes to make the Fen even more accessible to everyone in the Parish.
